Carnival Monday

Regions come together awakening the spirit of the festival gracefully expressing their joy with hearty laughter for a fun filled evening.

We leave at 3:00pm sharp in Monday wear.

The rich tapestry of colours depicting the elements of each region, comes alive the North, North East, South, South East, East and West brings forth a burst of colour and spice.

Carnival Tips

  • Stay Hydrated and Energized: To prevent burnout and dehydration, it’s important to drink water regularly - consider adding a liquid IV to your water before you hit up a fete, J’ouvert, or the parade!
  • Comfortable shoes: Leave the Converse at home because you'll be jumping and dancing for hours on end. Instead, wear supportive shoes, possibly even with some Dr. Scholls inserts.
  • Protect your skin: You're going to be under the hot Caribbean sun all day so make sure to double up on SPF/sunscreen!
  • Pace yourself: Rest and take breaks when needed.
  • Pack chapstick or lip balm
  • Try on your costume in advance to make sure it fits
  • Pack your road essentials in a small bag, wristlet, or fanny pack: Bring along a few items that will make your time on the road easier. This could include wipes, hand sanitizer, bandaids, lip gloss, safety pins, and cash (just in case)

  • Where does the band meet?

    The assembly point will be disclosed upon costume collection, but we will cater for a convenient point where your belongings will be secured.

  • What time does the parade begin?

    On Monday we move off at 3pm

    On Tuesday we move off at 8am

  • When is costume distribution?

    The final date of costume distribution is Friday 25th February 2025– after which all uncollected costumes are no longer available.
